Day - 1 : Delhi
Arrival
at Delhi. Meeting & Greeting at airport. Transfer to the hotel.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day - 2 : Delhi
Full day sight-seeing tour which includes Jama - the largest mosque of
Emperor Shajahan. Later proceed to Red Fort, Raj Ghat- Cremation site of
Mahatma Gandhi, to India Gate - a 42 meter stone arch built in the memory of
the Indian Soldiers who died in World War II, Driver past the President's
House & Parliament House, visit Humayu'ns Tomb a memorial by the Taj
Mahals, the Qutab Minar, Birla Mandir and Lotus Temple. Overnight at the
hotel.
Day 3 : Delhi - Sariska (Approx 239 Kms. / 4 hrs. drive )
Morning drive to Sariska - which is famous for blue bulls, sambar, spotted
deer, wild boar and tigers. Afternoon visit inside the park. Overnight at
hotel.
Day 4 : Sariska - Jaipur (Approx 111 Kms. 3 hrs. drive)
Early morning game drive inside the park. After breakfast drive to Jaipur
en-route visit Amber Fort where a painted elephant / jeep will take you upto
the fort with its huge gateways and pavilions. Arrive at hotel. Rest of the
day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5 : Jaipur
Morning sightseeing tour of Jaipur, visit the City Palace, Palace of Winds
and Jantar Mantar (Observatory). Afternoon at leisure. You can visit local
markets of Jaipur.
Day 6 : Jaipur - Ranthambhore ( Approx
157 Kms. 3 ½ hrs drive )
Morning drive to Sawai Madhopur Ranthambhore, named after an ancient fort
which stands in the reserve and provides a dramatic setting for the Project
Tiger Park. Open from November to April and is famous for Tiger, Leopard,
Nilgai, Chinkara, Sambar, common Langur, Crocodile and numerous waterfowl.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 7 : Ranthambhore
Visit the reserve in the morning and afternoon. Overnight at hotel.
Day 8 : Ranthambhor - Bharatpur (Approx 185 kms. / 3 ½ hrs. drive )
Morning drive to Bharatpur. Bharatpur, one of the finest bird sanctuaries
in the world with over 300 species of birds. Afternoon visit the sanctuary
for bird watching. Overnight at hotel.
Day 9 : Bharatpur - Agra (Approx 45 kms. / 1 hr. drive)
Early morning visit the sanctuary. After breakfast drive to Agra en-route
visit Fatehpur Sikri, built by the king Akbar in 1570. On arrival transfer
to hotel. Rest of the time at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10 : Agra
Morning sightseeing tour covers the world famous Taj Mahal, Agra fort and
tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah. Afternoon at leisure or you can visit local
markets of Agra. Overnight at hotel. (Taj Mahal is closed on all Fridays).
Day 11 : Agra - Jhansi - Orcha - Khajuraho
Enjoy
a short train ride in the morning to Jhansi, in Air-conditioned chair car.
Transfer by car to Khajuraho (190 kms / 4 hrs) visiting Orchha en route.
Overnight at hotel
Day 12 : Khajuraho
Khajuraho is famous for its 10th century Chandela dynasty temples and their
erotic sculpture. Morning visit Western group of Temples. Afternoon visit
Eastern Group of Temples. Overnight at hotel
Day 13 : Khajuraho - Bandhavgarh (Approx 237 Kms. / 6 hrs. drive )
Morning drive to Bandhavgarh, known for Tiger, Leopard, Gaur, wild Dog,
Cheetal, Barking Deer and a variety of bird life. Overnight at hotel.
Day 14 : Bandhavgarh
Early morning and afternoon visit the park. Overnight at hotel.
Day 15 : Bandhavgarh - Umaria - Delhi
Morning transfer to Umaria Railway Station (32 kms /1 hr) and connect train
# 8477 Utkal Express dep. at 20:50 hrs. Overnight on board.
Day 16 : Delhi
Arrive Delhi at 13:45 hrs. Transfer to the airport for onward destination.
